How to Play ToyPetMe: A Beginner’s Guide
ToyPetMe is a browser-based virtual pet game. You can begin without creating an account: choose a species, name your pet, then care for it through short daily check-ins. This guide explains the game’s core loop so you can get started confidently.
Choose a companion you like
Start by choosing one of five species: Mystic Cat, Star Pup, Fire Drake, Moon Bunny, or Crystal Axolotl. Species have their own visual style and story, but use the same care mechanics. Pick the one you enjoy looking after rather than worrying about a hidden advantage.
Keep the four care bars healthy
Your pet has Hunger, Happiness, Energy, and Cleanliness bars. Feed, Play, Clean, and Sleep each help with a different need. A quick visit to check the bars and use the available actions is the simplest way to build a routine.
Use games as a change of pace
Mini-games offer a different kind of challenge and can earn in-game coins. ToyPetMe currently includes Tap Rush, Memory Match, Feed Frenzy, Pet Jump, Whack-a-Pet, Astro Paw, Snake Feast, Brick Breaker, Pet Bubbles, and Paw-dle. Scores and rewards are kept separate: games are for practice and fun, while coins support the pet-care loop.
Grow at your own pace
Pets begin as Babies and evolve at levels 5, 15, and 30. Progress is saved in the browser you use, so return on the same device and browser to continue. If browser data is cleared, local game progress can be removed too.
